Hammydown.org (say "hand-me-down" really fast) was created to make it easy for you to give stuff (that you no longer have a use for) to your neighbors, and find free stuff in your neighborhood.
This could potentially help build community, reduce waste, save space, save money, and save resources and energy, and help someone else out. But you probably came here because you heard it's a great way to find (or give away) free stuff in your neighborhood, which we hope you agree with.
